National Rail are reporting of an hour's delay due to a broken down service train betwwen Barrow-in-Furness an Carlisle. Does anyone one where the broken drown train is, and whether it will affect today's Lakelander from Park South to Ravenglass/Sellafield?

Just a snippet of info from Carnforth, 6201 is taking water and the Lakelander tour is standing next to it with the 8f about to back on so there may be some photos about later on with the pair stood side by side from those who are at the south end of Carnforth platform.

Thanks Andrew for the right info and sorry about the 8F bit at post 2 above, the info was from someone on the CME who only saw the loco from the rear at a distance as it was backing towards the stock.

48151 or 46115 tomorrow. Hopefully the latter, as it ran light engine from York to Carnforth today!

Very unlikely - reported on the SSE as returning to base for some TLC before anything more serious develops - a sensible strategy - as you would expect from 10A!

48151 again in full dull throughout. Sounded good though, and put in a good performance on the "down" journey at least.

Very nice Phil. I was down by the estuary at Arnside. The sun appeared by the time I got back to the car!

Evidently everyone was so excited about today's Lakelander that there was no discussion of it...

For the record - 48151, load 11, sold out. AGAIN.

    That's yer lot.
