The collection opens with views of officially preserved Furness Rly 0-4-0 'Coppernob', 1891 Windermere steamer 'Tern' (which has never been withdrawn), and privately owned Barrow Haematite Steel Co 0-4-0ST No 17 (originally Furness Rly 0-4-0 No 25). But the bulk of the collection (44 photos) looks at the work of the Furness Rly Trust in restoring and operating locos, carriages and wagons from a variety of sources, notably 1863 FR 0-4-0 No 20 ('The great survivor').

Very interesting, thanks Andrew. Pleasing to see the plan for the vintage train to run with No.20, I have been following this on the Trust's website for a little while.
