71000 to Carmarthen - "The Carmarthen Cavalier" 29/08/11

Haven't seen any updates on this so far...

71000 passed through Cardiff on time at 1031, en route to Carmarthen today.

71000 was a few minutes late departing Bristol before powering up the bank towards Filton hauling 12 coaches. The climb was certainly impressive and the sound was wonderful. No diesel on the back today or indeed tucked behind the tender!! Not the best of stock ....well it is a Pathfinder tour so no surprises there. Two blue and grey Mk.2s behind the support coach for the return unless the complete train is turned during the day. <BJ>
