    My ticket arrived today also Ralph - good to know you'll be on board. What with Tornado on Wednesday and 6201 with the PRCLT on 14 Oct, that'll be three times over Shap in a month - lucky me!

    Just realised though, you are far better travelled than I am over that route!

    I've only done Crewe - Carlisle either via Liverpool or Manchester 5 times with steam so far this year, and twice by Pendo to Glasgow on business.
