    Hi All

    Deltic convoy through Deighton 11:00am running about 10 late this morning as were all Trans-Pennine/Northern services through Huddersfield

    I remember seeing three coupled together but towed by a Class 40 when they were being moved from Finsbury Park depot to Doncaster Works after they'd been withdrawn from service.

    Funny, that there were no two locos which were totally identical in the convoy:

    55022: blue, yellow axleboxes, light grey (?) ventilation grills, springs, buffers and tank, thin orange band around window mask.
    55002: blue, black axleboxes, blue ventilation grills, black springs, buffers and tank, no thin orange band around window mask.
    55019: as 55002 but with thin orange band
    D9009: two-tone green, black axleboxes
    D9016: as D9009 but with yellow axleboxes and grey buffers

    And there are some more details. So the spot the difference competition is on!

    BTW, I have no clue: What is authentic and what is artistic licence in the course of the restoration?
