No times anywhere for this exept the start and finnish times in on the RTC site.
    Is Tangmere OK for this?
One can guess most other times from the 28th September & earlier runs of The Sussex Belle.

The only clue I could find is the actual times on The Railway Touring Co. website stating Victoria 10.44 return 16.14 which

agrees with previous tours. Hope that helps.

Same timings as for 28 September - but an unusual omission from the Uksteam site, all the same. Passed Brixton dead on time at 1052 with a WCRC 47 at the rear. 34067 is carrying a 'Night Ferry' headboard. Photos taken this morning but memory card issue means I'll have to upload later. Intending to catch it at Denmark Hill on the return at 1600ish.

David is superb in the info he provides for us all. Maybe he has taken a very rare day off for once! If you have David, enjoy it.

Drove through an incredible downpour to wait for it on the A20 bridge near Charing. Sadly no Deepgreen foliage on the tees. LOL! Or the Autumn Gold I had rather hoped for. Just a bit gloomy, made up for by some exhaust as Tangy was still being worked downhill a few minutes late. Pity about the box on the back showing up, and with a Night Ferry Headboard on Tangy! Shame. Should have been an L1 4-4-0 piloting the pacific. Can just remember watching the up Night Ferry coming through Bromley South on a Saturday morning like that. Only it was an L1 piloting an origional condition Merchant Navy.

Timings (unconfirmed) are on uksteam and have been since yesterday. You need to click the "=" symbol rather than the word "times"

Anyone know why Tangy is dragging a box round on these trains? Probably been mentioned before, but I've missed it.

Making a wild guess, I can only think it's to save a light engine pathway at Victoria just as the evening rush hour gets underway?

It's nice to drive just down the road to photo it. But I'd also like to ride the train at least once. I know my gricing brother and his son would like to as well. But none of us want to have a mixed traction day out. Or even the risk of one. Real shame as I'd love to ride behind Tangy on my local stretch of railway, (I live near West Malling).

You may be right but I wouldn't think that's the reason as I've done the trip twice in the last couple of years and the "box" has been left behind on both occasions. I'm guessing that it was an insurance policy due to the wet weather and it being the "leaf fall season". I think there are a few challenging gradients at various points on this route so there may have been some concern there.

It's a good trip if you can make it, but if you are allergic to boxes you may do best to wait till the Spring.

Very nice video clip. It may be short, but it's perfectly filmed for that location. IMHO.

    Wasn't hanging about was she?

I was lucky enough to catch a very, very small segment of sunshine amongst the clouds... almost at the right time but lasting for milliseconds!:

A couple of images can be found here, captured in the middle of the Marsh stretch between Appledore and Rye:

    Hi Bryan

There were only 4 of us on that bridge. Were you the one with the steps?

    Regards

    Dave

Dave, no. I was the large Yeti standing nearest the centre of the bridge!

    Cheers,
