William Murdoch isn't Vac fitted and I don't think has a current boiler ticket (needs an annual exam). Ivor might be a possibility - has it not been sold yet?

Maybe Didcot would lend you the Steam Railmotor if you ask nicely. Look great on your line........ :becky:

Has to be said, in the future with the trailer as well that would make for an excellent visitor.

Splendid bit of co-operation. Any chance of a few runs without a Santa headboard? I expect photters would gladly make a contribution.

I'm sure that shouldn't be a problem - let us know when you are coming.

    Guys,

Glad you have managed to get it sorted in very quick time. I'ts good to see what can be acheived when everyone has the will to 'make it happen'. I hope it is a sucessful Christmas for both parties.

    Cheers

    John

Thanks for the good wishes! We'll be running from Wallingford hourly from 1105 to 1605 and from Cholsey 1135 to 1635. Let us know when you don't want the headboard on.

Sir Gomer arrived safely at Wallingford yesterday afternoon. Looking forward to steaming her (him?) this weekend for our first lots of Santa Specials - no need to book, just turn up!

I know its not a big deal for most lines, but it's very pleasing to see 2 steam locos on site for the first time in around 5 years. Unfortunately only one of them is operational - it would be nice to have 2 locos in steam at some stage in the future.
