People travel from all over the world to see Blackpool trams, Blackpool replies on tourism, do these people actually know what they are doing?

If you read the article it seems that they have actually come to their senses.

At a cost of £5,000 a year - "a nominal figure" I wonder if I write to Blackpool Council and ask for anominal sum, they would give me that amount!!!

Good news - with a sting in the tail!

So the Gazette quote of '£100 per week', should be 'per tram per week?' Seems excessive!

Cheers for that link Alan. I'll take comfort from the fact that they say LTT could be required to pay rent - lets hope the council or BTS don't invoke it !

I can't see LTT getting away with not paying some rent - but £1200 a week is a bit OTT.
I hope the council and BTS can come up with a more realistic figure.
