According to the board at Euston, departure is delayed

Stock is in platform 2, 70000 has detached and gone over to platform 16 for water, expect this to be an hour late departure.

The train is on the national rail departure boards which is useful! Left MK at 09.10 so exactly 30 mins down.

The night ECS moves for these two tours are interesting. As expected, the Kings Cross ECS is steam worked from Hornsey back to Southall, but the Euston ECS is shown as diesel to Wembley yard, arr 22:25 and reverse, dep 22:44. Does this put the Steam loco on the front of the ECS? If so, then one (70013) is due past Acton Main Line at 23:12, with the other (70000) passing Acton Main Line at 23:17 (this one being held in Hanwell Bridge goods loops 23:36 - 23:44). Two Brits five minutes apart in the Ealing area, Might be worth trying some night video shots.

Never seen a 1Zxx on National Rail Enquiries before! Pathfinder's Eastleigh - Cleethorpes showing as well, but not King's X - Lincoln.

Sometimes you get them sometimes you don't. I don't know if the full system works with updates between the stations or not though.

When I left home it was raining hard and blowing so I did not bother with the video camera, so the sun came out and the wind eased, anyway Chris and Austin were already at this location so videos will no doubt follow.

Approaching Calveley a couple of minutes early.
