According to Heritage railway mag that is more or less it. Someone has made a "request accompanied by a generous donation". The loco has run as 35017 on a couple of occasion in the past so presumably they had the nameplates stored somewhere.

If you fancy a change the VSOE has arrived in Victoria platform 7 ...Instead of 2

Departed Victoria on time, this engine is truly spotless even the brass work is polished to the state of looking Untarnished new...I doubt even anything in the nrm is in this good condition, I thought 35028 looked spotless even before its repaint.

Interesting how the crowds have tripled at victoria today compared to any other VSOE trip with steam

About 5 early at Chertsey, running just ahead of a unit. 67 on the rear.

Here's my video from Egham, Guildford and Gomshall, as everyone says she was looking absolutely superb, gleaming and spotless.

    Sounding nice too.

    Afternoon chaps,

Concur with the above, 35017 / 35028 looked even more stunning than usual yesterday.

Shots of her at Victoria, Putney and East Croydon (where she didn't half confuse the shoppers!)

I trust you had a good time.

Hackhurst Farm yesterday afternoon. Third time lucky seeing the loco that day. First was near Chertsey, I got to the bridge just as 35017 coasted underneath! The second was south of Woking, where the sun went in just as she appeared in the distance.

The timings have just come up for this Saturday's excursion, but is it likely that this will be re-routed aswell?

I wouldn't have thought so, as it's been sold as a trip to Canterbury, rather than just a steam hauled trip. I guess it may only be load 10 as well - support coach, 6 FOs, 2 kitchens and brake/genny.
