I arrived at Didcot Parkway at 11.58 to find her sitting waiting for the Oxford train to clear then set off right away ( half hour early).
After getting the 12.16 to Reading 12.30 it was long gone. My mate was going on to Paddington text me to say he had passed it
at Slough about 12.50 being about an hour early.

    Hi all,

Whilst leaving York today (around 11:15) the trouble and strife swears blind that she could see a steam engine not long passed on the main line and was watching it disappearing into the distance. Was she just seeing things or was there a LE movement in that area around that time?

    Thanks for any replies

Can anyone confirm if the 4492 Eastleigh - Southall move is going ahead presumably using last weeks timings?
