    The traditional end of season Gala at the B&W.... Locos rostered for use are 4247 (which looks absolutely superb in BR black), 5521 and 30587 - a genuine Cornish trio! The two GW tanks will share the working of the main service train, whilst 30587 will work a train formed purely of brake vans. Two-train operation, with 9 departures from Bodmin General each day. Adult Day Rover - £13.50. The perfect end of year tonic!

    Too good to miss - very friendly line with plenty of atmosphere. I wonder how long 5521 will stay, now that 4247 is back.
