67006 was on the back when 6233 worked the royal train over the S & C in 2005.

67005 was on the back when Tornado worked it from Preston to Manchester in 2010:

How many steam-hauled royal trains have run? Does anybody have a list of dates, places and locos?

    Cheers for now,

    Andrew N

    Thanks Mr.Moderator.
I would like to see proof Prince Charles was on board that day.So far all talk...

Always strikes me we don't get to hear much about passengers and crew on the Preservation website.

Not sure what you point is aperture, unless you are thinking conspiracy theory, but perhaps someone on Wakefield station would have noticed if he had arrived by car.

It does strike me that much drivel is posted on this forum.

I think these are all the Steam Hauled Royal Trains in the last 10 years. Not sure about the ones earlier in preservation or the steam era

I believe that on the Feb 10th 2010, the Royal Party then went back to London on the train which Tornado took as far as Crewe.

I recall Flying Scotsman hauling a train in London for the Queen Mother a lot of years ago (1993???).

I think 4472 did haul one with the Queen Mother and like 70000 was given a white cab for the run. I thought it was in the 80's though but could well have been 1993. I'm only going by memory from books though as I wasn't born in the 80's and would have only been 1 or 2 in 1993.
