It Looks Good So Far

 

cant beat LNER apple green :-D

 

Will look good on the teak. Get it to the SVR and NYMR as well for their teak sets.

 

Would love to see it back on the SVR! I have vague memories of it visiting late nineties/early 2000's when in BR black. Lovely looking loco.

 

It certainly visited when first outshopped in green. Looked fabulous on the teaks.

 

So odd, I was sure i remembered it being in mixed traffic black...must be my memory playing tricks! Great bit of footage at the end here of 8572 pulling away from sterns...cracking sound!

Maybe confusing it with former resident 61994 'The Great Marquess'?

 

The sight of the b12 running with the quad-arts when i visit in september would be heaven!

 

No, no its not that. I've got many fond memories of the K4 on the valley but it was definitely 61572 i was thinking of here. I think i can be excused, I was 6 at the time!

Running in trials completed last week at ELR.............photo on "another" site shows it in LNER green looking resplendent

 

The pictures on that page show it in LNER green but 2857 is talking about it having visited the SVR when painted BR black.

 

Really looking forward to seeing the B12 in steam again, and in apple green. Magic!

 

So glad its back in apple green REALLY looks the part! Hope to be able to see it in the flesh in the not too distant future- credit to all involved!
