Planning on a trip down to the WSR this Saturday, and was wondering as well as the regular steam service, will there be any other train movements during the day? Like last weekend had the 47 out and 6960 on driver experience courses. Any info very much appreciated.

  2. I think you'll find the regular services only (5553 starting from Minehead, 9351 starting from Bishops Lydeard) - nothing else showing on docs but assume nothing.

    Hope you have fun...

    Steve

Hoping you had a good time, all the same. Time was when the prospect of 2 steam locos working on one day would have had me and my friends heading to the WSR PDQ!

I had been planning to go yesterday, but family circumstances prevented this! Definitely, there is something about winter steam; must be the bare trees allowing better views.
