70000 Cumbrian Mountain Express 3/3/12

I'm looking forward to finally seeing and getting behind Brittania in her Original Br Green Livery over the Settle and Carlisle line. Didn't suit it being painted black i think. Anyone from here booked on this Steam and diesel excursion?

I hope to get out for this tomorrow during the outward run. I haven't seen 70000 since the first test runs.

It should be the Crimson & Cream 'Royal Scot' set.

 

Full blood and custard set, with a Mark 2 on the front that'll be on the rear over the S&C.

It would appear that it stopped at Long Preston and not Hellifield and then set off early from there.

Two photos of 70000 storming past Helwith this afternoon. Pity it missed the sun by a few seconds but I think if she was on time the light would have been worse.
