My Zenfolio Site

For the last month I have been uploading digital images to my Zenfolio site, and now it's time for its pulic launch! I went to the Wizzer yesterday, photos from the first day of their Spring Steam Gala are available here -

Some nice photos, well presented with thoughtful captions. Personally I prefer collections to be organised by subject matter rather than date, as I'm less include to dip into someone's 2009 folder just in case they have been somewhere interesting. That said, its a nice collection and I wish you well.

I spent most of my time at the GCR's 1960's Gala yesterday in the Swithland area. My photos from a rather grey and chilly day are now online here - Mick Rogers Photography | GCR 1960's Gala 31st March 2012

Things seemed to be much quieter than usual, with plenty of room in the trains and not that many bright orange jackets on the lineside.

Despite the horrible weather, I managed to get a few half reasonable photos of the three locos in action on the Tornado 'Little & Large' theme day here at Steel, Steam & Stars III, these being 60163 Tornado (of course!), N2 1744 and Coal Tank No. 59395.
