    Was there any need to thrash a 76 year old loco like i have seen it thrashed today what are VT trying to prove ? trying to beat 71000's record of the banks with 9 on ? 5043 is an elderly machine and deserves more respect then the crews have shown it today, Am I missing something is it an ego thing oh my locos faster then your loco its disgraceful.

    What a load of old tosh, 5043 has repeatedly proved it's more than capable of what it's been asked of, putting many supposedly superior machines to shame, I find it interesting your a new poster and your first post is such an obviously fishing for a reaction type post...
