    Hi Lewis,

I can see that you must have been somewhere north of Craven Arms, but where were you when you took your photos of these two trains? Conditions had worsened to distinctly gloomy, even trying to rain, while I was waiting for Tornado at Felhampton - until I'd packed up and set off home, then the sun made a late appearance.

I was stood on Lyth Hill near Bayston Hill...we were also very lucky with the sun as it disappeared 5 minutes after Tornado steamed off into the distance.

    Thanks,
    Lewis

Thanks for that. You were quite a way further north than I was.

I wonder if anyone managed to photograph the two trains actually passing each other on the line - if indeed that actually happened?

    Cheers,
    Mick
