    I notice from pictures in the magazines that 8F 48151 is now running without its 'Gauge O Guild' nameplates. Does anyone know if this is permanent? (Can but hope).

    Oh good, I personally thought those nameplates looked absolutely crap on the 8F. Luckily they were fairly easy to Photoshop out, however I guess he who pays the bills has the right to decide these things and quite rightly so.

    Plodding along the Aire valley this Morning and i didn't notice the plates, never sean a train going so slow, didnt open up until after Bingley...

    No plates fitted and it was running against amber most of the way until Bingley

    Don't know about permanency but a quick check confirms that the plates weren't fitted on April 4 when it ran the Southport - York charter
