    The event is being held to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the branch from Bodmin Road to Bodmin (as the stations were originally called), which opened on 27 May 1887.

    An intensive timetable, with two-train operation, will feature on all three days of the event, and there will also be a locomotive cavalcade at Bodmin General on the Saturday afternoon.

    Guest locomotive is BR Standard 2-6-4T No 80104 (with thanks to the Swanage Railway), which will be working alongside the resident locos Nos 4247, 5552, 30587 & 30120. The two Port of Par locos are also expected to feature.

    Apologies for the lack of information about the event on the BWR website, which is currently being completely re-designed.

    80104 arrived safely at Bodmin this afternoon and has now been safely unloaded onto BWR metals.
