It's a great pic - I know a mag or two are trying to get intouch with him as well as us for permission to use the pic. He captured the moment exactly!

Fingers crossed he gets back to us.

    Cheers!

There were questions as to why 6201 backed off the bridge, well if you remember your etiquette, it is not polite to turn your back on the Queen, you should always leave her presence backwards.....

Following on from this grand occassion I copy the following from the 6201 website:

"We are sorry to report that our current Chief Mechanical Engineer, Steve Underhill, has tendered his resignation effective from the beginning of July 2012.

We would like to thank Steve for his work whilst Engineer for ‘Lizzie’ and also wish him well for the future."

    Interesting.

Steve has done an excellent job with Lizzie and it is a shame to see him give it up and a big loss for the loco. Why does "Lizzie" keep losing its engineers? One is acceptable, two is questionable, I have lost count but I think this is number five? More to this than meets the eye maybe :confused1:

Suspect so but probably treading on thin ice to suggest anything more, certainly no one came out with much credit from the last dispute Mr Underhill was involved in.
