Wanted: The Red Devil and other tales from the age of steam Book

Can anyone help me, I have searched for 12 months to no avail! Good - mint condition only...

Looks a superb book, but the only one I can see for sale is on Abebooks, in New Zealand, for £363!!` Maybe David Wardale just didn't have very many printed. Might be worth checking if there is a copy available to view in the NRM library.

I found that one too! Signed first edition, I'm not sure what the cover price was! I'd like a copy for my 'library' I think its an interesting book from what I've heard...

 

I believe 3000 were printed but there is zero chance of another print run. There is a very outside chance of a PDF version at some point but don;t hold your breath. In the meantime it remains a VERY difficult book to get hold of.

 

NEWS! I've found a copy, hopefully arrive early part of next week. Still showing as in stock too...

 

I have a copy in very good condition that I maybe persuaded to part with for the right offer...

 

I would be interested if the copy I've ordered doesn't come to fruition. I'm a little sceptical due to its rarity... What sort of money did you have in mind? I'm sure it wouldn't take much shifting!

A rare first edition of 'The Red Devil and other Tales from the Age of Steam' is to be listed on eBay at about 1800 hrs GMT Sunday 9th December 2012 , starting price £75, ending 1800 hrs GMT, Wednesday 19th December. There were only 1000 first impressions of this title, and 2600 printed in total. If there's anyone who is interested in a copy here's your chance to buy one.
