    Well Bryan what a day,out ward Ray Churchill set the pace and inward what a run (don't know who nthe driver was) but 50 down at one time to ontime end was what these trips are about it was a 22 hour day for me but i am glad i was there to witness it, thanks to all involved

    About 35 mins were recovered on the return run by omitting the Theale water stop.

    The final shot for the film of this trip was supposed to be after the water stop at Woodborough. Unfortunately the train was running around an hour late and didn't reach me until 10.00pm. As it was totally dark I decided to use the nightshot (infra red) function on the camera.

    Thanks for all the video clips - looks like Tangers is in really good form at moment aided and abetted by enthusiastic crews. Was amazed how much vegetation has grown up around Bruton but it is many months since I was there last DH
