I can't give you many facts, but 32 at Dainton on the outward, 35 on Rattery and an unconfirmed 21 at Hemerdon.

Many thanks, much appreciated. Not as fast as I'd have expected but good none the less. Wish I'd been able to be on it but had fun chasing it using a Devon Day Ranger, lol. Will post some pics in due course !

Right then, from my gps loaded into Google Maps, so might be a bit out:
    On the return-
~25mph on Hemerdon, ~54mph at Rattery, and ~32mph into Dainton tunnel.
Also ~53mph at Whiteball summit, and ~68mph at Flax Bourton mini summit.
Finally, a high of 82mph (will remove if requested) descending Whiteball.

I've got a few pics taken at Taunton, and a vid at Newton Abbott. The vid isn't that good as they'd been held up by that pesky "all stations scud" to Paignton so going slowish at that point. I'll try and work out how to post them on here all the same though.

Here are a few pics from that day I took with my HTC Desire smartphone. Not one of the best smartphone cameras by any means, the phone is nearly 3 years old now and technology has moved on a lot in that time. Not bad all the same. They are taken at Taunton on the outward run and Bristol on the return. I bought a Devon Day Ranger which allowed me to stay ahead of the train all day so got to see it at Taunton, in Tiverton loop as I passed it on a Paignton bound XC HST, again at Newton A, Plymouth, and then again at Dawlish Warren loop as I passed on a Manchester bound Voyager, Exeter SD and Taunton as they passed through non stop, and finally BTM at journey's end.

Quite a day, with a couple of hours at Saltash during the layover, hence the additional pic of the Royal Albert Bridge.

    Hope you like, : )

Absolutely stunning set of images. Just watched it twice with the sound routed through my Home Cinema and Sub Woofer. I swear the earth shook during the section on Hemerdon !

The Tamar Devonian was a very special railtour, and your video is a tribute to it !
