Lovely shot, Stuart, showing her 'leaning into the curve', plus a decent first few coaches - no 'mix & match', although I see there's two colour stock further back.

    Thanks for posting it.

That two colour coach is I believe the kitchen car.

Stuart I was just looking back through you shots of 6233, and I still think that your shot of her leaving Scarborough 2 years ago passing the signal gantry and in Black is still one of your best...

    Dont count on it

I think the poor bookings is due to this, same loco on every week (just my opinion)
But that is Network Rail's fault with the Ouse bridge ruling, permiting a LMS loco onto East coast metals, and banning a LNER loco

Albert has done a good job this season driving 46233. I saw it going through Ravensthorpe last Friday and the photographers who were there got a perfect picture, sun, gleaming loco, Albert being "enthusiastic." Perfect.

:faint: Does this therefore mean that NR have solved the Ouse Bridge problem...

Does Albert know how to handle a Gresley loco, don't they have a strange number of cylinders??

I feel sure Mr.Seymour will "adapt, improvise". He's a handy fella with a steam locomotive. :thumb:
After saying that I just hope t'owd lad doesn't put it in the River Ouse. :fear:

I would hope so. More locos built with 3 cylinders than 4 in this country. But I guess the Great Western locos needed that fourth cylinder to drag all that unnecessary copper and brass around.
