hi all i know this is a little late in the day to post this gala but we have been so busy at chasewater its unreal!

locos to be running are as follows:
    0-4-0st bagnal linda
    0-6-0t neachells no4
    0-4-0 colin mcandrew
    0-6-0 holly bank no3 (darfield no1)
    0-6-0 class 08 shinter d3429

other locos which may be in traffic:
    0-4-0 hunslet ncb shunter (diesel)
0-4-0 marston thompson and evershed brewery loco (diesel)
    0-4-0 bass no5 (diesel)

plus our narow gauge railway which runs at the back of our heritage center (separate fair charges for narow gauge railway, our taylor & hubbard steam crane is planned to be on static display inside our heritage center as it awaits the boiler to me put back into place

we have a very intensive time table with our usual passenger train, bay to bay passenger breakvan train and coal train, not to mention all the shunting that will be goin on! also photographers are welcom to come down the day before the gala on friday the 7th as we prep our engines and shunt the yard (all we ask is that you please dont go into restricted areas, if you are on the line side to wear and orange hi viz jacket and keep clear/ do not obstruct any shunting maneuvers that may be taking place and stay off the track for your own safety)
( locos subject to avalibility) trains start at 10am on both sunday and saturday, we hope to see you all there to have a good time

Sorry if it sounds a daft question, but just wondering if this applies to the whole gala, or just the Friday? Ie. Are you ok with linesiders as long as they're using some common sense?

Yes line side photography is fine onethe actual gala, but like you said as long as everyone shows common sense and can be seen properly by the footplate crew and shunters it's not a problem

Also I forgot to mention if people could not climb up wagons to take photos whether they are stationary or not
