Whilst I suspect this has more to do with the link to HR Magazine, I suspect that taking note of their recent hostility towards the NRM a certain amount of pleasure was felt when the NRM did this.

It couldn't happen to a nicer bunch than those at SR, this isn what happens when you think your magazine is bigger than the stories, it comes back to bite you boys.

I await the indignation from STR next month...

The New Special "Workshop of the World" issue of The Railway Magazine (out from Wednesday the 3rd Oct) already has pictures of the two A4's at Halifax together in it.
A great special issue although my copy looks like it has been around the World twice thanks to Royal Mail!

After a few days without a location update - just seen one appear @ 22.24 on Marine Traffic.com.
Atlantic Conveyor will soon be in sight of SE Ireland looking at the map.

She will come into Seaforth on the high tide at 00.34 tonight, as this reduces time spent in the lock.
I would expect a quick unloading job & transfer onto low loaders, hence the 06.00 press conference.

The ACL ships due to their size, in the same way the tankers for Tranmere, picks up her Liverpool Pilot there.

Well, she got past alright. That's the main thing as Anglesey was/is notorious for wrecking ships...

The ship (lights) was visible from my balcony a few minutes ago. She will be in the lock within half an hour.
