    Hi all

I don't usually dabble in mainline but I was wondering if any railtours run over the WMCL between Stafford and Crewe? I know some nice spots near Stableford to watch the Pendelinos and double headed freights, but is there ever anything more... :cool1:

I've had a gander on the web, but i don't know where to look - all i could find was uksteam.info and i can't see anything in this area except maybe an ECS move for Bittern SVR - Crewe in April

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Ta

Stafford - Crewe is a frequently used route for steam, reason your probably having trouble finding much scheduled is not everyones plans for next year are set in stone yet, give it a few months and see what turns up, generally anything from Tyseley heading to North Wales or the North West/Scotland will use this route.

As it would have to go via Wolverhampton to access Stafford from Banbury, there a fair chance it could turn left and go via Shrewsbury and the northern Marches, Brits don't have a restriction through Chirk I think ?.
