    I am wondering, just out of interest how much is a BR mark 1 BS Suburban coach worth in derelict condition? Also how much are they worth when in very good condition?

    Priceless, they are wonderful coaches as im sure your aware just sadly dont offer much flexibility in operation. Not that many demic ones about though at the moment i certainly cant think of any that are in such a state.

    The easy answer is what ever you and the seller think it is worth, but be warned, it won't be an easy restoration job, suburban mk1's can be rust buckets, door pillers, ends etc, all suffer from rusting out , why else do you not see them in use very often mostly because to a lot of railways they are not a viable coach to repair compared to a mk1 tso etc
