After their first try at an 'enthusiasts day' the chaps at Bredgar are having another go this autumn.

The date for your diary is Sunday 28th October 2012.

No details on which locos will be working yet.

As last time, runnning will be over the entire length of the line with engine changes at the Swanton Street end.

Since the clocks will have moved back to GMT the night before it will be getting dark around 16:40 so there will be a night shoot, torches and tripods essential.

Hope for improved weather conditions this time!

More details as available, keep an eye on the Bredgar web site The BWLR - Bredgar & Wormshill Light Railway

To whet your appetite, Zambezi leads Limpopo on the Bredgar Goods.

I spoke with Bill best at Bredgar yesterday, he tells me they hope to have six steam locos running on 28th October, perm any six from Limpop; Zambezi; Armistice; EiGiau; Victory; Helga and Lady Joan. The rebuilt Hudswell-Clarke Diesel may put in an appearance too. More as I hear it.

The plan is now to have all seven workable locos in steam and working trains
throughout the day and early evening.

Lady Joan, Armistice, Eigiau, Victory, Helga, Limpopo and Zambezi. Subject to availability.

Doors open at 10:00 with trains starting at around 11:00, close of play will be
    18:30.

Both goods and passenger trains will be operating with some locos facing in the
opposite direction to normal running so allowing for some different
    shots/locations.

After about 17:00/17:30 there will be a
short night shoot at two locations on the railway.

Additionally the Bredgar diesels will operate occasionally for those who like
that sort of thing, plus the newly restored Simplex will play with those unruly
    skips.

Details of how to get there are on the Bredgar web site The BWLR - Bredgar & Wormshill Light Railway
