    If anyone is interested to have a look, I have put a couple of pictures of two coaches of an LNWR Oerlikon EMU on Flickr; this is the first one and clicking on it will enlarge it and take you to the other one :

    Looks like the loco on the right of the picture is ex gas turbine 18100. Rebiult as prototype AC electric locomotive E1000. Later renumbered E2001. The loco was classified class 80 under TOPS but never carried a TOPS number

    Which ended its days parked on the former GC link from Ashenden Jct to Grendon Underwood Jct adjacent to the former airfield at Westcott (now a trading estate) by the A41 road Akeman Street.

    Received the Great Western Echo today & inside there is a a picture of 18100 at Paddington in service complete with steam issuing from the train heating boiler. States it wasn't as successful as 18000 & not used as much.
