    Just passed two LU units going towards Southampton on M4. No more details, weather too bad on motorway. Anyone know what that's about? En-route to Eastleigh and IoW ??

    Yes almost certainly going to Eastleigh for scrapping.

    There are no plans for replace the IOW 1938 stock for many years to come.
