My photos can be viewed here:http://richardsteampics.weebly.com/steam-on-the-main-line-network.html A good run and great performance from the crew of number 9 kept us pretty well to time throughout with speeds of 105mph from the two 47's returning home. Big thanks to all who made it happen.

Thanks to all who have posted photos and video, great to see!

    Richard.

Fantastic trip on Saturday, thanks to all involved, even if some sarnies I bought at York station meant I ended up stood at a window all the way home.....nuff said.

Apart from coach J riding absolutely terribly all day (i'd go as far as to say it isn't safe to be on the main line as it is) it was a brilliant trip, stonking performance from no.9 and the HST ride on the way back with 47804 and 854 wasn't bad either,York in about 2hrs 45 (discounting the stops around Donny) and 95 by the time we reached Ally Pally, must be a first,we were doing 50 by the time we exited Copenhagen Tunnel!

    Cheers,
    Mark

Brilliant run from York to the Cross with 60009. A very heavy train - 12 plus the diesel. Was the latter helping at any point?

Hi loved your videos of UOSA. I was on the Tynesider 24/11/12 and used to see the A4's roar through Doncaster. Any chance of a copy of say just the Doncaster video on Dvd.

Obviously I would expect to pay. Thanks, look forward to hearing from you.]
