Wouldn't it have been even easier if they had just left things the way they were? We went metric 47 years ago but thank goodness we still use miles on the railways.

For those interested, the scaffolding has gone up at Leek Brook as work begins on the CVLLP Project. Phase1 is the restoration of the signal box, with a power supply having already been installed. Work is now to concentrate on the actual box itself.

Both the N7 and the S160 were light steam tonight, the S160 will be on further test runs tomorrow and should be hauling the santa services over the weekend.

Phoned and booked now, for me and my nephew, is 6046 out again this weekend ??

 

Subject to failures, 6046 is to work all remaining trains in 2012.
