    LATE LAST CHANCE TO BUY TICKETS FOR LONDON UNDERGROUND STEAM TRIPS!

    A limited number of tickets have become available for the public steam-hauled trains through the London Underground tunnels on Sundays January 13 and 20.

    Some of these trips will be hauled by Metropolitan Railway 0-4-4T No. 1, and the others by vintage electric locomotive Sarah Siddons.

    They are being offered for sale on a first-come, first-served basis from 9am today (Saturday January 5), and are expected to sell out very quickly.

    I was asked last night by London Underground to post this, so I have done so. Several people have posted on facebook to say they had not seen it before and bought tickets as a result.

    I'll pass on my thanks here. I won't make it (being in the US) but my Dad phoned this afternoon (Sunday) and was able to get a ticket himself. Still worth a try if anyone else is still looking.
