UK Locos database indicates it to be at South Coast Steam on Portland since 2005 and dimantled.

Just popped over for a look on way to Tesco's. Cab carcass with number still visible from road. The wheel sets which I think were from the S160 no longer visible where they used to be stored. A boiler and firebox and just a firebox visible but I regret I don't know enough about the outline of a stripped S160 to know if either are from this loco. Also visible on site what may be the tender off a BR standard but partly hidden so I'm not 100% certain and the site operators diesel shunter. The Bullied MN pacific that was on site for ages left sometime ago.

Hope above helps. As a follow up I saw recently a reference to another local steam repair company moving to South Wales but had never been aware of them here. Any info on them therefore appreciated to fill the gap in my knowledge even though obviously too late as they've moved!

A R Teifel Steam Engineering is/was co-located on the South Coast Steam site on Portland.

Thanks for that. I knew South Coast Cranes share the site (you can't miss that) but hadn't consciously realised the site had two rail companies.

South Coast Steam are one of the main providers for replacement boiler fittings e.g. wash-out plugs, boiler side stays, crown stays, taps for side and crown stays, safety valves, etc.
