New addition to SVR loco fleet

    The Severn Valley Railway has purchased 09012 to supplement its fleet of class 08s and 11. This will allow repair and maintenance to be carried out on the railway's 08s that are currently in service and, due to its ability to travel at line speed, will also prove useful for permanent way maintenance trains.


    Over May 4-6 the SVR will be holding a Western weekend with both D1015 and D1062 in service. It is hoped that D1013 and D821 will also be on display.
