For those who can access it! My login problems still persist. (Kieren?).
Any info would be gratefully received on here for us people who cannot get on TW.

Has anyone else noticed that Braunton has been replaced on most of its Cathedrals Express Tours? Does this indicate anything?

Have you tried sending Kieran a PM on the matter or another message to the admin? Might be the route forward as we cannot help you here I am afraid although for the record works fine for me. Anyways back on topic.........

There is no news or information on the TW about Braunton.
No, other than the loco is unavailable for those tours.

I have asked Ian why the forum is down and it seems likely it has been hacked again.

To be blunt, it takes a quite frankly pathetic individual to find the (valued?) time to hack a forum to ruin something for many people.

The admin is currently working on it i'm lead to believe. I know nothing further than that i'm afraid.

Buseng, the only advice i can give is the same i gave to someone else a short while back, perhaps see if you can create a new account with a different name when the forum is up again.

Am I correct in assuming that Braunton will not be hauling the Peak Forester Railtour on the 14th April?

34046 Braunton on ELR steam diagram Sat 27 and Sun 28 April.

34046 expected to run with blue/grey Mk II set in air-brake mode as part of ongoing proving process whilst diesel 37109 (blue) will run with maroon set.

Fantastic that there's some light at the end of the tunnel for 34046. A good chance to see if the braking problem is finally sorted. The stock isn't such an inauthentic combination as one might think - at least for the class if not for the engine. 34004 Yeovil took a train of blue/grey Mk 2s down to Swanage on a railtour in June 1967.

Good news. Is there another steam out as well?

On the Saturday 80080 is on a parcels/freight FXP, whilst on the Sunday there is a steam hauled dining train, but neither of which are available to 'on the day' passengers.

I don't want to sound rude but it six years since 34046 returned to steam. Is there any point now getting her on the mainline for just one year left on her 'ticket'.

Will 34046 not have begun her ticket again since being at Riley's and not having much running?
