    Quick visit to the railway in the afternoon after riding on the buses in the morning. Two round trips and a ride behind alll five locos - can't complain about that. Disappointed to find that when I had a 45 minute wait for COLIN McANDREW at Chasewater Heaths that the cafe had closed at 2pm on a gala day (the sign outside said it was open until 4pm), so I'm afraid Morrisons got my custom instead.

    Glad you had an enjoyable day with us, thanks for the feedback
    Unfortunately the cafe at Chasewater heaths station is not run by the railway, but by a third party and the railway have little or no control of their opening hours
    However if you had gone to Brownhills west, the sidings cafe are open until after the last train, but I know this didn't help you whilst you were waiting
