Amerton Railway will be hosting its annual gala on the 15th and 16th June. As usual there will be freight and passenger services hauled by our resident and visiting locos. This year we also have a special guest to open the gala, railway enthusiast and owner of LNWR Heritage Pete Waterman will be with us on Saturday 15th.

There will be 6 locos in steam, residents Isabel, Paddy and Jennie as well as visiting locos Kerr Stuart 'Peter Pan', Barclay 'Jack' and newly restored Hudswell Clarke 'CSR No19' from Fiji.

Come on down, see the locomotives, meet Pete Waterman and enjoy an excellent narrow gauge railway experience!

Just a reminder that the Amerton Railway Steam Gala is next weekend - 15th & 16th June, preparations are going well.

The Amerton Railway is on the A518 Stafford - Uttoxeter road, about 7 miles east of Stafford. Easy access from the M6 at Junction 14, good links from the East Midlands via the A5o/A518. Post code ST18 0LA. See our website at www.amertonrailway.co.uk

Lots of steam activity in an attractive setting, plenty of photo opportunities. Adjoining Craft Centre, childrens activities, tea room and garden centre too if you have non-railway minded family members to consider, see www.amertonfarm.co.uk

We hope to see you next wekend.
