[May 30, 2013] Fairbourne Railway Little to Large Gala - Katie Returns (gwynedd)

For the first time since the Fairbourne Railway was regauged to 12.25" gauge in the mid 80's one of the 15" gauge engines will be returning. Katie which now resides at Windmill Farm Railway will be returning to Fairbourne for the Little to Large Gala on the 26/27th May 2013.

There will be an intense timetable in operation utilising all available locomotives including Sherpa, Yeo, Russell and Tony; first departure from Fairbourne at 10.40am then trains from either end of the railway every half hour from 11.30am until 16.30pm.

There will also be 5" and 7.25" gauge rides, full size steam rollers, model traction engines and loco's on display, garden railway stalls, craft stalls, face painting and live steam 16mm models running.
