Any idea on the loco for the 3rd?

 

Been informed it should be 61994 all being well !

 

I still hope that 61306 may put in an appearance or 2 on Fellsmans this year. I'm starting to doubt it though. Yet again there are 6 more after this one though. That is not taking into account the 15 guinea Fellsman with 46115 and 45669.

45231 bang on time and sounding great in the gloom and drizzle at Hoghton.

 

Three shots of 45231 on the outward journey 3/7 at Hoghton Bottoms, Newsholme and Selside Shaw;

 

I enjoyed that, watching that slog at Selside was well worth it - an impressive sight & sound!

And guess what - it played first time without any problems.

BTW I for one appreciate the time and effort all you guys, to go out in all weathers to record these events, so that all us folk stuck down south can enjoy the sight and sound of steam hard at work!
