Anybody know whats running this saturday?

 

Check the KWVR website.

 

Is that up to date? It shows 80002 mid week and I thought that was out of ticket?

 

It wasn't the other week when I travelled behind it.

 

Ahh my mistake!

 

From a chat I had with some. On shed, it's probably the 4f midweek as 80002 did Sunday, but best bet is to phone them, usually the same loco during the week and something different at the weekend.

80002 ticket is up on 22nd I gather by the way.

80002 in service mon-thurs all being well, was out today but running 25 mins late, poss coach issue

41241 in light steam in Haworth yard today

 

Morning everyone. Can anyone tell me when are the running dates are going to be when 34092 and 45212 are running please for the 50th anniversary gala? Thank you.

 

Never rode behind a USA before, which was interesting. Lots of nice exhibits to be seen. Sadly most of the blurb on the Oxenhope locos pretty much says they are likely to be permanent exhibits, particularly poignant in the case of the iconic 5775

Just saw in a post Senor Zuckerberg wanted me to see, 5775 is being dismantled for overhaul.

 

I went over to the KWVR yesterday 4th February, in steam hauling the daily steam service was 78022

52044 has arrived back at the KWVR from its extended visit to the ELR, seen here in Haworth yard

I notice that 52044 has now swapped her Barton Wright-style smokebox door for a Hughes style one with dog catches. Is this a permanent change? I hate to be negative but personally, I much preferred the old style...
