    Well spotted, unlike myself. So as I said, it's nice to see a driver in control of what he is doing....however now said with much humble pie.

    Very nice of you, Al, to consume a large slice in public. ;-) Pity that others haven't followed your lead....

    Also, you might, in connection with comments elsewhere, wonder where the loco had been overhauled? Furthermore, you might also wonder why the other loco in the consist had a massive blow on the regulator necessitating the drains be left wide open whilst watering at Appelby? That self same loco might also have been overhauled at the same place, might it not?

    You might also wonder whether the drivers had the same great confidence in their steeds thereafter....
