    What I meant was 5029 can be operated by DBS as well as WCRC and therefore potentially run more trains. Although seeing as 5043 operates only for VT, that doesn't really matter I guess. And you are correct... 5043 did do more miles than 5029 last year but Tyseley/VT are more inclined to use thier own engines on railtours.

    Hmm... maybe taking the latter posts and putting them under a new thread entitled 'Tyseley's loco's compared' and leaving those that actually mention 4965.

    ...but neither 4953 or 5029 are owned by Tyseley... :p

    Yes but it hasn't done much with DBS and they don't seem to have made a very good job of what they have done with it do they? (Ludlow?)

    I am G.W.R to the core but I have to admit they never seemed to bother about crew comfort did they?
