    Hi all,

Wondering if anybody would be in the know for this. N2 No. 1744 usual carries a variety of destination boards on different occasions ( has been known to wear Kings +, Leicester North etc.. ). I suspect many of these are produced as wooden interpretations, so could somebody provide the following details if possible?

Length, Height and Width dimensions for both the front and rear boards.
Height, and if possible, Font of the Lettering.

    Thanks very much in advance.

Actually, looking at the photo again, you can see the brackets at the bottom of the smoke box door. These look the same as the ones on the back holding the board. Mine is a video showing the board on the back, not photo. I'm just trying to work out if my software (Windown Movie Maker) will take a still from it.

The brackets are actually a rack, which can hold several destination boards.
Same both ends. Usually it's carrying 3 or 4 destination boards, destinations painted on both sides, the others boards are hidden behind the foremost one.

I know on one of 1744's visits to the NYMR she "wore" the destination board Moorgate on at least one ocassion. That being a bit of a play on place names as there is a well known photographic spot at Moorgate just south of Goathland............
