There some proper idiots about aren't there? Quite amazing that in 2013 you can still have a WR mainline hydraulic on the mainline, running at 90mph, thanks to decades of hard work by a handful of people, yet all some halfwit can moan about is the headcode box not being right. If it was me I would have ripped his ticket up and made the oaf walk back.

The world is divided between doers and whingers! At least the loco wasn't carrying a headboard as the train went through Yeovil. My pet hate is silly names for railtours - for example, Pembroke Coast Express is fine as it was a BR train, but some Pathfinders railtour names (like Exe-Parrett) give me the heeby-jeebies - perhaps they just like to wind up the photographers! But seeing a train called 'Cornish Riviera Express' at Swanage gala last weekend made me laugh - we don't have to take things too seriously. I suppose a lot of old BR train names were patented at the time of privatisation.
