I hear that 46115 and 48151 have both been declared out of gauge for this run so Galatea is in steam and ready to go...

Well, I'm glad we shall have a red steam locomotive in action tomorrow. I hope that I'm not shooting myself in the foot by saying that I thing that she is the one in the best condition of the three.

It seems strange 8f 48151 is out of gauge and Jubilee 45699 is. I thought the 8f's were same as a black 5 for gauge.
Someone will be able to put me right ;)

Also the 8F was that way last year, but maybe the ballast has been cleaned and tamped, and the quality control of the work, as has happened before, appears to be non existant.

Lovely sustained clip with different angles to maintain continuity. There won't be a lot spare with a Class 6 on a load of 13 but Galatea seems to handle it well.

Usual high standard Stephen and nice to see you at the farm first thing. Don't know how you manage to flit so well between locations and still turn out the top notch stuff.

And the return, caught me napping, came sneaking round the corner and I'd not heard a thing....
