NIR Class 80 query

    Hi

    I was wondering if anybody could answer a question I was given today?

    Were the NIR Class 80 power cars built with a BR Class 73 chassis design?

    I don't doubt the inspiration for the Class 80's, it's the chassis design I'm interested in!

    What difference does that make?you don't think that maybe NIR enthusasts might know some bit about their trains?
    So far that's two people tried to help you and got bitten for their trouble.
